The Modern Band, also known as “Rock Band”, is unique in a high school setting.  Students learn guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and lead vocals.  The Modern Band performs around the Metroplex at venues such as the AT&T Performing Arts Center, including being requested as an opening act for the national tour of the Musical Rent.

 

The Modern Band class meets during the day, with occasional rehearsals outside of school.  Friday Night Band, our advanced ensemble, meets every Friday evening.
